Alocasia Black Saturn Stardust Variegated #1

Plant type: Live variegated aroid houseplant with finely speckled foliage.

Growing location: A warm indoor collection or ventilated growing cabinet with bright, indirect light.

Alocasia Black Satun Stardust Variegated carries a fine scattering of colour across dark, arrow-shaped leaves. Cream flecks and soft pink blushes pepper the pale green surface, creating a galactic display of pastel colouration.

Pale veins give the elongated blades a clear structure, while upright petioles lift them away from the centre of the plant. The narrow outline associated with the cultivated longiloba group adds elegance to the richly patterned surface.

Plant Care Guide:

Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. Filter strong direct sun to protect the patterned foliage and use a grow light to supplement a dim winter position.

Water: Allow the upper layer of substrate to begin drying before watering thoroughly. Retain light moisture around the roots and drain freely. In small pots, check close to the surface to keep moisture available throughout the root ball.

Humidity: Aim for around 60–75% with gentle air movement. Maintain humid air while allowing the leaves to dry freely after wetting, particularly in a cabinet.

Temperature: Enjoys temperatures around 20°C to 27°C during active growth. Keep the root zone above approximately 16°C and shelter from cold windowsills and draughts.
