Plant type: Live climbing Monstera houseplant with finely speckled variegated foliage.
Growing location: A warm indoor position in bright, indirect light, with climbing support as it grows.
Monstera deliciosa Green Snow is known for its fine, scattered albo and pale green variegation across broad green leaves - closer to a speckled dusting than large albo sectors. Lighter green and cream-toned flecks create a soft, snowy effect, with the density and contrast of the markings covering the entire leaf.
As a plant becomes established and climbs, it can develop larger foliage with the splits and openings familiar from mature Monstera deliciosa.
Plant Care Guide:
Light: Provide bright, indirect light and protect the foliage from harsh sun. A well-lit position supports stronger growth than a dim corner, without requiring the leaves to receive intense direct exposure.
Water: Allow the upper part of the substrate to dry before watering thoroughly. Check that the pot is lighter and that the mix lower down is not still wet, then let excess water drain freely. Do not water to a fixed weekly schedule.
Humidity: A practical target is around 60–75%, although acclimatised plants may cope with moderate household humidity. Maintain gentle air circulation rather than keeping the foliage continuously damp.
Temperature: Aim for 18°C to 27°C. Keep the plant away from cold draughts, winter window glass and abrupt changes in temperature.
